URBAN JUNGLE REBRAND
Visual Identity
Rationale:
This rebrand focuses on refining Urban Jungle’s identity to align with their mission of creating lush, inviting environments that celebrate the healing power of nature. Drawing inspiration from their bohemian interiors and botanical surroundings, I developed a cohesive visual language that balances functionality with the café’s relaxed and rustic atmosphere.
The logo uses ‘Horseland’ for its bold yet soft heading, reflecting the brand’s earthy character. A hand-drawn illustration, representing both a flower and the sun, ties to their emphasis on nature and sunlight. The design’s symmetry and cohesion unify the elements without overpowering the overall aesthetic.
To improve legibility, I restructured the menu with clear hierarchy, contrasting typography, and distinct colors for key information like pricing and dietary indicators. Hand-drawn botanical patterns on the cover reflect the café’s plant-filled atmosphere, with seasonal variations to suit their dynamic offerings.
Social media designs integrate hand-drawn illustrations, earthy tones, and plant-based imagery for a consistent and inviting presence. Posts balance text and imagery to highlight Urban Jungle’s vibrant café and nursery.
This rebrand captures Urban Jungle’s bohemian essence while addressing practical design flaws, resulting in a cohesive, functional identity that enhances their connection with customers. The project has strengthened my branding skills and expanded my portfolio with work that prioritises both aesthetics and usability.
